There was no vacuum tube 50CA10 for the output when thrown away. In addition, one of the volume line in the high voltage side of one of output transformers was break down. I found 25C6GA power tube in Akihabara, its heater voltage is 25V, so it is easy to use for this amplifier without changing heater transformer. Next I have decided to change output circuit to the SRPP. Moreover, I have changed driver steps to SRPP by using 6DJ8/ECC88. Finally, NFB was assumed not putting. Therefore, it was possible to reproduce splendidly for about 10,000 yen. A wonderful sound is heard now.

There was no output vacuum tube of LUX MQ60 stereo power amplifier driven by four 50CA10 tubes, when I picked up form a bulky refuse. I found one of high voltage lines in one channel of output transformers was broken down. I spend about $100 to repair the MQ60 at Akihabara shops with 25C6GA tubes, which has a specification of 25 volts heater line. Then I modified the final circuit to SRPP, changed the driver tubes to 6DJ8/ECC88 and decided no NFB was connected to the circuit. Those modifications brought me spectacular sound in my home. 捨てられていたときには出力用の真空管50CA10は４本とも無し、さらに片方の出力トランスの高圧側の巻線の片方が断線していた。このアンプを再生すべく、出力管はヒーター電圧25Vの25C6GAを秋葉原にて発見、終段の回路形式をSRPPとした。また、ドライバ段も6DJ8/ECC88とした。また、NFBはかけないこととした。以上により、約1万円で見事に再生、すばらしい音？を聞かせている。

Later on 14th April 1998, I found 50HB26 mag-noval tubes at an Akihabara shop and the price was $25. I wonder if this brought me more wonderful sound, but I still prefer the shape of 25C6GA. I refuse such the poor idea. No wonder the current system with 25C6GA is the best….(7L3IUE)

1998.4.14秋葉原にて50HB26なるマグノーバル管を発見、 2500円であった。これを使って、作ったらどうなるだろうか？しかし、球としてのデザインは25C6GAがベターである。満足、満足・・・

下の写真は汚れや、錆はあまり見えず、実物よりは奇麗に写っている。私のカメラ技術のためか、はたまたデジタルカメラのなせる技か？？

左正面から、25C6GAと奥に6DJ8/ECC88が見える。また、下に本体のネームプレートが見える。キットのKMQ60では無く、「Luxman 60」である事が分かる。写真に撮ると錆びは目立たなくなっている。

出力管25C6GA
KT-88ほどかっこ良くは無いが、6L6GC程度のスマートさか？値段の割にお徳用である。

かれこれ20年以上前に中古で購入したものである。ブランドはJMTEC（ジムテック）となっているが、日本のメーカである。また保管が良くなかったため、錆が発生してしまった。そこで、全て分解し、トランス類、ケースの再塗装、内部の配線のやり直しを行った。しかし、重量が約30kg以上あり、扱いも大変であったため、手放してしまった。構成は6267-6FQ7/6CG7-6550/KT-88 PPである。出力段の6550は左側は中国製、右側はRCA製である。
